Learn the basics about your BERNINA or bernette sewing machine. Workbooks 1 and 2 are covered, depending on the capabilities of your sewing machine.
If you purchased your machine from Merrily We Quilt Along, you will have a small fee of $10 to sign up. The $10 fee is non-refundable or transferrable less than 7 days prior to class. When you arrive to your class, you will be given a $10 gift card for the store to offset the original fee.
Workbook 1: All BERNINA and Bernette 77 & 79 Machines
Tuesday: January 13 from 10:00am - 1:00pm
Workbook 2: Pre-requisite is Workbook 1 all BERNINA sewing machines
Tuesday: January 20. 2026 from 10:00am - 1:00pm
Supply List:
PLEASE bring EVERYTHING on this LIST to each class you are coming too:
- My Bernina Workbook (See below for options)
- Sewing Machine and all feet
- Sewing Machine manual
- 1 spool of Mettler OR Aurifil sewing thread
- Pen or Pencil
- Basic Sewing Supplies - pins, small scissors,
- 1-2 Empty bobbins
- Fabric Marking Pencil
- power cord AND foot control
TWO options for WORKBOOK (CHOOSE ONE):

machine.
Please bring the following:
- 3" ring binder
- Box of Clear plastic protectors
2. Click here to Download the workbooks to a portable device, such as: Ipad, laptop, Tablet. Make sure
you download the workbook for your machine.
You may want to bring a baggie for all your samples!
1. Fees must be paid at time of registration.
2. Phone registrations taken with a credit card.
3. Refunds given only if we are notified at least 7 business days prior to class.
4. Minimum of 3 students per class. Class will be canceled if minimum is not met and a full refund will
be given.
5. No children, babies, or guests in class.
6. You must obtain a supply list PRIOR to each class. Read it completely to see what supplies are
necessary AND what preparation needs to be done.
7. Where required, please bring a sewing machine in good working order and that you are familiar with
operating. Teachers will not spend class time learning your sewing machine.
