Borders, Binding, and Beyond - IN STORE CLASS

You have spent many hours piecing and quilting your quilt, so you want to finish it with a binding that will make you proud. Learn how to apply borders to prevent waves, do a French binding with mitered corners, and make a hanging sleeve in this class.

~ One 15" square of fabric for front
~ One 18" square of fabric for backing
~ One 18" square of cotton batting
~ 1/3 yd of contrasting fabric for binding
~ Fabric marker (pen, pencil, or chalk)
~ Thread to match binding fabric
~ Hand sewing needle
~ Sewing machine in good working order
~ Walking foot or even feed foot
~ Piecing foot (1/4" foot)
~ Sewing accessories such as glass silk head pins, scissors, seam ripper, etc.
~ Rotary cutting supplies
CLASS POLICY:
1. Fees must be paid at time of registration.
2. Phone registrations taken with a credit card.
3. Refunds given only if we are notified at least 7 business days prior to class.
4. Minimum of 3 students per class. Class will be canceled if minimum is not met and a full refund will
be given.
5. No children, babies, or guests in class.
6. You must obtain a supply list PRIOR to each class. Read it completely to see what supplies are
necessary AND what preparation needs to be done.
7. Where required, please bring a sewing machine in good working order and that you are familiar with
operating. Teachers will not spend class time learning your sewing machine.
